OVERVIEW
The 8th generation (C8) Chevrolet Corvette is a highly competent street-to-track sports car right out of the box. However, we believe that the engineers at GM left some room for aerodynamic enhancement. The addition of well-sorted aerodynamics can help the Corvette achieve new highs in overall performance on and off track! A front splitter can help balance out larger rear aerodynamic systems and take your performance to the next level!
Front splitters are very effective at producing front-end downforce with minimal increase in drag. They do this by creating a large pressure delta between the top and bottom surfaces. Utilizing scan data directly from the car and CFD, we were able to produce a splitter that pairs well with our V1X Rear Wing. This splitter properly balances the downforce seen by the addition of a rear wing. The splitter mounts to multiple chassis locations for a strong and durable mounting style. All hardware locations are recessed for improved aerodynamic performance, giving the kit a factory-like fit and finish.
The splitter is produced from carbon polyweave, which is the same material used in high forms of Motorsports. The material is not brittle, so no more issues with cracking, like carbon fiber and ABS. It will not grab and bend under the car like aluminum units either. The material is also lightweight and stiff; which makes it a great splitter material.
The air dam is used to bring the splitter flat with the vehicle's underbody and improve performance further. The air dam is produced in carbon fiber that adds visual balance to cars equipped with our other Carbon Fiber offerings, such as our Carbon Rear Diffuser, bringing our whole kit together in one cohesive performance package!
To extract more performance for the given build volume, we offer High Downforce Front Splitter Endplates for this kit. These end plates flawlessly integrate with the rest of our aerodynamics kit and add subtle styling that enhances the overall aesthetic AND performance of the vehicle.

Science:
Front splitters, when designed properly, greatly increase front-end grip. Utilizing state-of-the-art analysis software, we were able to extract more performance from the front splitter and air dam combo through an iterative design process. We were also able to properly size the front splitter to counteract the rear wing and diffuser, creating a safe and effective aero balance for owners. This is important as an unbalanced car is more difficult to drive at the limit.
Our High Downforce Carbon Polyweave Front Splitter Kit is the next step up from our WF Spec Front Splitter Kit. This splitter is designed and manufactured for the dedicated track goer who needs more front-end downforce than what our Ventus 3 configuration offers.
