    OVERVIEW

The Verus Engineering Turning Vane kit completes the underbody panels for the GT350 or GT350R. By creating strong vortices which improve performance of the factory or aftermarket rear diffuser we are able to reduce drag and increase downforce generated. The turning vanes are the final piece of the puzzle on the GT350/GT350R underbody from us and are a great addition for those looking to maximize the underbody aero of their Mustang.

Utilizing state-of-the-art analysis software during the R&D process, we were able to extract more performance from a typical flat underbody panel kit; increasing downforce generated and drag reduced from the addition of these underbody panels.

During the design process; we utilized in-house scan data. This resulted in a product that features a near OEM fit and finish.

*Does not work without the Fender Evacuation Kit and Underbody Panel Kit.*

    Science:

The Ventus 1 kit was designed for the Mustang owner looking to reduce drag and increase downforce slightly. A large part of the drag reduction comes from cleaning up the underbody, which this kit does in spades. Couple the flat underbody panels with the turning vanes and fender evacuation kit, and the drag reduction is quite substantial with a slight bump in downforce from better-controlled flow around the vehicle. This is a great beginner package for the Mustang owner looking to reduce lap times on the track and maybe increase fuel economy on the street. If more downforce is your cup of tea, look into our Ventus 2 and 3 kits to really reduce lap times on the track.

    A Quick Look:

The GT350R in our shop holds a special place in our hearts here at Verus Engineering, as it is one of the first American cars for which we mass-produced parts. This greatly paved the way for what was possible with other American platforms like the C8.
