    OVERVIEW

Looking to add some radical and purposeful styling to your V1X Rear Wing? Elevate your wing's style with the new KMX V1X Carbon Fiber Endplate kit. The units bolt on exactly how our standard endplates bolt on, with no change in hardware. The units are produced from 2x2 twill pre-preg carbon on machined aluminum molds for a consistent fit and finish. The units are finished with a gloss automotive clear for UV resistance.

These were designed and developed using CFD to improve the performance and aesthetics of the V1X Rear Wing Element. By venting the top side of the wing in a specific way and shaping the bottom portion of the endplate, we were able to reduce drag and increase downforce. This resulted in an improvement in wing efficiency of 0.6% (also know as Lift Over Drag or L/D)  over the traditional V1X Endplates at 10 degrees AOA. Testing was conducted using a swan neck upright and mount style in free stream airflow.

The endplates bolt directly to any V1X rear wing, regardless of chassis!

    Science:

The Verus Engineering V1X Rear Wing was specifically designed for the avid driving enthusiast looking for a higher downforce wing more geared towards road course and track applications. To further enhance performance and aesthetics, we set out to develop endplates to push the envelope further. By reducing the vortices that the endplate and wing produce, along with shedding some of the high-pressure air on the top side of the wing, we were able to improve the wings' L/D (efficiency) by over 0.6%.
