OVERVIEW
Alumalite® is a strong and lightweight aluminum composite material, great for various aero devices on a track car. The panels have one major flaw when used in a non-traditional signage application; due to the way they are constructed, Alumalite crushes easily with little force when tightened to the chassis. These bungs fix this issue with a registered boss, specifically for 6mm thick sheets of Alumalite, though a 4mm spacer can be added for 10mm sheet thickness. These bungs ensure the panel does not crush when tightened. Alumalite is a registered trademark of Laminators Incorporated.
The countersink angle on this product is 90 degrees.
